I find that it is sometimes a matter of taking it one day at a time Loretta ... it took me some time to build up stamina too... the good thing is you keep trying and I would too ... work it according to your body and your limitations... it is all good...

Great pics! Both you and Mal.

Awesome! And your threads are not goofy at all! I love them!! You are what keeps most of us on track Martita.. You are an inspiration to all of us!! I keep thinking, I can't do this! Then I see your posts and think she did it and is keeping on doing it so get your rear in gear girlie and do it too!!
I have finally gotten the courage up to step on my scales and the news was not good... 30# up from my lowest recorded weight.  This is not acceptable!!! UGh!!!
Believe me I see the pitiful glances my way and really feel self conscious as all hell!  !! But these glances are glances of concern for me I know this too so I'm not about to disappoint!!! Back on track for me!!!
Your posts are uplifting and encouraging Martita.. I just love all your pictures!! You look so darn good girl!!! Keep your threads coming no matter how goofy they seem to you.  Thank you for being you!

I can only hope I can inspire someday as you do for so many of us!! Keep up the great job and keep those snippets of your life a coming our way-I for one look forward to them!!   Molly (or Mary) whichever!!

Thanks everyone I'm just catching up today as yesterday I put in a new garden bed (it was grass and weeds) and cleaned my house from top to bottom on my hands and knees scrubbing floors and vacuuming all day long.  Today I resemble the look of a 90 year old woman hobbling her way to the bathroom when I got out of bed today.  Every muscle in my entire body is screaming!  So today I'm going to do some light housekeeping and rest as much as I can.

This staircase analogy is so perfect for this journey.  I know there were so many days that I woke up feeling like I do now when I was heavy just from existing.  Not from overexertion like today.  I ached all over, every joint and bone in my being hurt from carrying around and extra 170 lbs. I'm so thankful every day for this tool and on the days when I get frustrated that I can only eat 4 bites of anything still (with the exception of soup that is) I think to myself thank GOD I can only eat that much otherwise I'd be back up to 320 again in no time.  Lifestyle changes, permenant ones, are the only way to make this surgery and tool a success.  Please commit to one small change a day if you are in your journey and make it happen.  Only you can change your life!  And believe me, its such a GOOD one!

Happy Monday!
