See now look at all those great photo ops! LOL. I'll check with im, right now his weekend day off is Sunday but maybe he can switch for a Saturday. Patchy will stay at home. He has an extreme phobia of anything in costume, we tried walking through NYC in Feb and we ended up having to go home bc of people in costume, we actually left the big toys  r us before he could pick out a toy bc he sae Jeffrey from the ferris wheel. So yeah, I think we will leave him home lol

The photos do no justice to those waxed figures... when you go up to them some of them look so real it is creepy.... these were taken about a year or so ago and I had shared them on another board... I just asked and both of them are up to it ... have Jim pick a date ... if we meet up early on Saturday we can have b-fast in the city... hit up the museum and other places ... have lunch and you head back to Long Island and I to Connecticut after having FUN in the big Apple... 

Too bad patchy would be scared ... and some are scary ... like King Kong

OK, Ill check with him and let you know. and oh yeah, Patchy would need to leave if he saw that King Kong! My brother brought him to a police vs. correction officer local hockey game the other night and had to leave bc there was a mascot. I hope he outgrows this soon.

 LOL ... he would have freaked yesterday at the festival... some student came up with the idea of replicating this dinasour and girl it was huge .. it moved ..ate... opened its mouth.. growled and the kids could touch it.... it looked totally real ... and was a replica of some ginourmous dinosaur name I can't even remember it started with t..............and ended in .saurus.... it was just awesome..

Yeah he would have freaked. I feel so bad, he turned 6 in March and this mascot/character fear is like two years old and going strong. He has had to miss birthday parties bc of it, and when he comes home with a birthday invitation his first question is where is it and will there be a mascot? A lot of the kids do parties at Chuck E Cheese, he cant go bc of Chuckie in his costume. I have no idea how to help him through it.
