Stripes twice in the same week and THRIVING... SNIPPETS
Seriously ... sometimes when asked about all the things that I do now that I did not do or seldom did before I almost ALWAYS come up with something new ... goofy as it may be .. without even trying too hard...
One of those things is STRIPES ... YUP! was always told that because of my size I should wear stripes vertically only and not horizontal because I would look wider ... I never really liked stripes all that much ... I do have in my color coded walk in closet that occupies my entire attic a limited section with stripes and somehow gravitated to it twice this week without even thinking about it ...
Hey ... I always had a huge selection of clothing ... in ALL my sizes ... and guess what? I made and make most of them .... and of course when uploading pics to my journal 'a picture a day keeps the pounds and the inches away' I saw that I wore stripes TWICE this week ... and I also found me in my yellow stripped dress that I wore before my wls ... and I thought... hmmmmmmmmm maybe I could share my goofy post on Snippets from my journal today....
Stripes twice... Me? Sure did ... still not sure that I like stripes all that much on me but I wore them with attitude ...
and even made a before and after collage IN STRIPES...
after work I donned this dress and ran over to the house of praise...
and took a close up of my do in a curly lacefront covering my awesome short-lived short do...
now I am going to spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing with an AWESOME BOOK I purchased from the WLSFA written by Dr. Connie Stapleton PhD and AWESOME woman who I met at the OH Conference in Long Island this past October ... the book is just AWESOME ... a real gem ... THRIVING .. I highly recommend ... okay... logging off and going back to reading ... here I am THRIVING with my awesome favorite ferret Finibeau ... I love this guy ... he is the sweetest thing ... he even purrs like a cat ... go figure ...
This book is AWESOME ... I ordered it from the WLSFA and now I won't be able to put it down ... Finibeau loves the bright yellow cover ... so I will continue to relax until time for bed ...
Best wishes for an awesome afternoon to all ... and thank you for allowing me to share another goofy thread ... just a sister on the journey ... trying to encourage one other as I encourage myself...
No sewing or painting tonight ... I shall read ... YIKES ... STRIPES AGAIN... coincidence LOL
THANKS AGAIN FOR ALLOWING TO SHARE A GOOFY THREAD!

Have I always been like this? YUP ... have always been a goofy and happy person... ALWAYS... I think I was goofier before than I am now ... my life has not been easy ... maybe I have been married for way too long to one of the goofiest and happiest person ever ... or maybe I remember my mom always telling us to smile no matter what otherwise our face will shrivel up like a prune ... and we certainly did not want that LOL...

I do believe that two happy people together would make for an excellent marriage, and I know I said it before, but I LOVE your posts, your ideas and your attitude, I get so happy when I read them because I can feel your love for life thru what you write...I am not sure how it comes thru so strong, but it does, and I get happy and teary sometimes because I am praying that I can be as happy and positive as you. You are inspiring and for a year I have enjoyed your posts and just wanted to tell you that you are a wonderful role model for WLS.
