For you NEW KIDS, HERE ARE THE RULES: 

"B*TCHFest"  is provided as a public service to those of us who have gripes and grievances but who (whom?), for whatever reason, lack a regular forum in which to air them. You are welcome to voice any problems - large or small, important, mundane or ridiculous -  that currently have your panties wadded, your shorts frosted and your gears ground. Don't hold them in and risk future medical issues, wrinkles and/or those pesky gray hairs.

ANY and ALL issues that are plaguing you are open for you to voice; there are no "sacred cows." They say that "feelings aren't facts", so if you're feeling it, it's legit to you. NO ONE is allowed to flame a poster for something he or she writes, however commiseration is not only welcomed but encouraged. Please, no personal attacks against other OH members (at least, not by name) and please no surgery wars!

I'll start you off with a few gripes of mine, and you all can join in at any time! No limits - come back as many times as you like!

- Seemingly innocuous posts that OH decides to take to the dump (a.k.a. R&R). I wish I could figure out the rhyme and/or reason behind it. 

- Trying to figure out what my cellphone is doing while I'm not using it that eats up so much battery power. Every time I turn around, it's low again.

- Why is it that when I'm in a hurry to get somewhere, I hit every RED light but when I have nowhere to go and all day to get there, I get all GREENS?

- Why can't my life be at least SOMETHING like I want it to be? NOTHING seems right right now. Wahhhhhhhh.

Are you spending a lot of time in places where your poor cell phone is working its battery off searching for signal? Used to happen at my old church a lot - I'd be there for a few hours in an area where it got very intermittent signal and the battery would drain like I was using it to jump start cars or something.

No one probably wants to hear my gripe, but here it is anyway: I gotta stop losing weight. My body fat percentage is less than 19% even though my BMI is still 22. Can't seem to eat enough for my activity level. Sigh. Who'dda thunk I'd ever have this problem.

Sorry i don't have any advice... but I do have some panty bunching stress to lay out.

I have a VERY sick (in my opinion dying) family member whos spouse is causing soo much grief.  Hiding $, not paying their bills (collection calls going to another family members house), living free (mooching), lying, deceiving, straining relationships and I don't know what to do about it... I WANT to confront and lay it on the table and make it common knowledge to all those involved but I don't because the sick party really cant handle the drama..... Rock(me)hardplace.

If you have all your apps and whatnot on auto update it will take the life of your battery way down.  I turned all that crap off, I would literally wake up with my phone dead after a night of updating itself.  No more.

I hear ya on the life thing, there about a million things I would do different if I could go back.  But since I can't I will just try to move forward without hurting myself.  lol  I say this because the other day I bought this cute pair of flat sandals, my bf hated them instantly, he loves all my heels.  Well I went to Dairy Queen to get fudge bars and tripped in my flat shoes right in front of a crowd of people, they started to laugh and say we promise we won't post that on YouTube.  Seriously I broke my toe last year wearing a pair of flip flops and now this.  Flat shoes suck.  I just can't wear them.  lol

if its an iphone....open up your lock screen...hit the home button twice and **** load of apps will pop up at hte bottom...push and hold one of them and the little x pops up....X them all out. then hit home again.

My turn for a gripe...
When hubby is on night shift all he doesn is sleep, work and play ******g Diablo 3.....yet when he's on dayshift he manages to do all sorts of things, like dishes, garage stuff, kitty litter box etc...
its not like he's got a shortage of daytime hours...hes got 4 from the time he wakes up until he leaves for work...but manages to spend 3.5 of them on the damn computer....

- Im feeling impatiant :p But that's just me...I need to breath for a second lol
Now for some "open letters"
- Dear Slugs eating my lettuce: Don't make me break out the beer.
- Dear Cat pooping in my garden : read above....replace beer with cayenne pepper
- Dear Neighbours: Fireworks are not a worknight "toy". Stop it.

Because my neighbor was working on someones car they parked their car right next to mine and I wasn't paying attention and bumped it when I was pulling out of my space.  Minor dent, probably wouldn't have been noticed but I did the right thing and told them.  Car is a 1994 and cost them $200 because he is a tow truck driver.  I figured they would bru**** off because that is what I would have done but no, greedy idiot wants to turn it into my insurance company.  I thought maybe they wanted the cash but he actually wanted to get it fixed.  He was under the delusion that an 18 year old Nissan was a classic.  How much could it cost to fix an 18  year old car?  Apparently nearly $2000 when they get a rental car for 10 days and need a new door.  I asked him not to turn it in and to see if we could work something out but he literally called my insurance company the same day.
Fast forward a few months and my insurance is canceled (was a preferred rate) and new insurance is 2 to 3 times higher.  And not long after the genius fixed the "classic" car his transmission went out and he wound up junking the car.  And this is after I did them all kinds of favors, lent them my car, gave them side work and got work for them, lent them money, etc.  That is how they thanked me.  Of course the favors have stopped but I am still screwed.  Oh, and one of the reasons my insurance company dropped me is because I had the nerve to file a claim for towing that cost $30.  Too many claims in a one year period.  Before that incidence I hadn't filed a claim or had a ticket in years and finally had a clean record so I could get the preferred rate.  Thanks a lot.  Karma is waiting on you.

Where are all my friends?  All those who I have helped in many times of need, visited in the hospital, brought care packages and goodie baskets to?  Where are you now that it's time to return the sympathy while I recuperate.  It took my BFF 6 days to get over to see me, and never came to the hopsital, although she works about a mile away.  Once I sent out the info that I was OK, why didn't people call, text or stop by the house?  Do I regret all I have done for others, absolutely not.  But it has taught me that people like me are few and far between.  Will I stop paying it forward and doing for others - no, it's just who I am.  But it is hurtful and depressing to feel like you've been abandoned Shame on all of you for bad manners!!!

I was shopping for a Detroit Tigers shirt and asked a salesperson if there were any in the misses department.  She said "no, they are all in the men's department.  Well, we do have a few in misses but they are only for average-sized people, not plus sizes."

Worst part is that if I don't get it together I will be back in plus sizes soon.

 You can get an app to control how much power your apps draw.  I use Juice Defender and it works pretty good.  You can adjust how much or how little control it has.
