Surgery in Mexico

I had my surgery in Mexico and would do it again in a heart beat!  My surgeon was Dr. Ponce De Leon and he has so much more experience in my surgery (the sleeve) than most USA doctors and has over 20 years experience doing other procedures.  My PCP is doing my follow ups (blood work and such).  I have a local friend who had her surgery here in Texas and has had a tons of complications, including a second surgery to fix a leak, she just received a $30,000 bill from the hospital for her complications!  Complications can happen anywhere, and I honestly decided to go with the more experienced surgeon.  Good luck in your journey!
