Looking for something to take that is non drozzy and safe for diabetics. I am going on a week end horse trail ride May 24th and will be in the woods . I would hate for my allergies to start flaring up about that time, this trail ride costs money. got the sneezing and itchy eyes real bad.

thanks..Wendy

This has been the worst allergy season for me in a long time.  I take a zyrtec every day and use Flonase nasal spray during allergy season.  That seems to work pretty good.  I would start taking the zyrtec several days before your trip so that it gets into your system.  Have fun on your trip.

* Edited to add:  For the eyes, I do use Zatator eye drops.  You can get them over the counter now.  And Walmart has them in the equate brand.

I am 4 yrs. Post op and I use Claritin once a day and if my allergies are really bad 12 hrs. later I take a Wal-Zyr.  Works great for me.

Have fun on your ride.  I really miss having a horse.  Maybe someday again, but I'm getting pretty old to be taking those kind of chances.

Good luck.

I take a generic Flonase and used to take Singular too. The Flonase has been good enough for me so far since January. I am allergic to dust, mold, feathers and cats. So I have the problem year round here in FL.

Have a great time!
