post-endometrial ablation periods
I had a ballon ablation done in 1997. My periods came back full force a year later. By 1999 my periods lasted two weeks and I was anemic. Finally I couldn't take the cramping and heavy bleeding and let my gyno take my uterus out. By that time I had a fibroid the size of a grapefruit/ five month pregnancy. I had to have an open vertical procedure due to the size. VSG was a snap compared to that.
Open yourself to possibility and possibility will present itself.
called & spoke to DRs nurse.
she said this is normal & very common whenever someone is years out from an ablation & they are one of the ones whose lining has regenerated (grown back) a little
i got used to having NOTHING though, so this is a real bummer.
thinking about making an appointment w/ him to see about getting it redone - usually always permanent elimination 2nd time around
