I'm still pre-op but was wondering if there is any garment that would help to "pull up" your panni when the skin starts to sag so low. Just a thought. If not, maybe I'll invent something. ha-ha. I did one time see something for pregnant woman. It was like a back brace that came around the front and helped to support the lower part of the belly. Any thoughts?

I think most girdles would work. and the pregnancy would probably be better. I have seen what you are talking about.

I've always worn a panty girdle. I was 400lbs, I have lost 190lbs so far. I felt better with it on, especially as the weight dropped. I recently had my tummy tuck and still wear it! Well it helps with the post op swelling. I won't have to wear it much longer

But my concern would be my panni hanging down, like way below my pubic area. I just thought if there was something that would pull it up, not just flatten it out, then maybe I would be able to wear my shirt tucked in some day.

H Teresa, I know that they make such a thing for pregnant ladies. It is great and I had one for my forth baby. It is just like a wide belt that goes around and fastenes with velcro. It gives SO much support to the lower stomach. It seems to me that they are about $20.00 Hope this helps Love and Blessings Patricia O'

Hi! Good question! It's one I wouldn't have thought of. I think the pregnant "baby sling support" is a good idea. They can be more exspensive and hard to find in some locales. But, there is also the possibility of the "all in one" that every undergarment manufactuer makes in all shapes & sizes. My only problem with that thing is having to open the crotch area to potty, then trying to re-hook the darn thing. It's like trying to escape from a strait-jacket! I have found that when I wear it, I undo the crotch for potty, then while sitting there doing my business, I remove it from the top, when I am done, I close the crotch, pull the bra part back up and fix my shirt. Oh, that reminds me, when you wear an all in one, you might want to consider wearing a shirt you can easily remove to do the on & off move I suggested, otherwise, have long arms that can re-close the crotch.

Thanks Maria. I am still pre-op and have nearly 200 lbs to loose. I seriously doubt that I will ever be able to afford a TT. I was just hoping for a different solution. But who knows, there may be an engineer out there trying to make his first million and will invite this for us. ha. Best Wished to you.

As far as TTS go you might could get insurance to pay for it if you get rashes and such. I read a couple of insurance places did that. Good luck

That would be great. I have major/chronic yeast infections already documented by my PCP and my GYN. And it will probably onlyl getworse. Thanks!

Hi Teresa, The catalog One Step Ahead makes a Maternity Support. My neighbor though she would be funny and give me the catalog. I have a 6 and 8 year old and her toddler was having a meltdown and said she thought it would be fun for me to have another one. HA HA HA HA HA I will get back at her later! Anyways, it is in the new fall book and it is also on the web. #01027 for $42.95. Pricy I know, but made very well. It is also a bit wider than the traditional belt because it is supposed to help support you in the third trimester when you "drop". I know about this stuff as I used to manage a maternity store several years ago. Good luck! Michelle
