My keyboard is getting all wet,  buckets of  tears falling down on it.. I have just asked for a time out with my fiance'.. He has anger issues. I'm scared and crying.. 

I want to drink alcohol and know its wrong , my heart beats hard and hurts when i drink alcohol, i just came from a visit with the therapist..I'm very scared.. going for a walk is not an option. Suggestions welcomed, i am brain dead right now. Thanks..Wendy

Good for you for having the courage to set your boundaries! Please keep letting yourself have your feelings- experience them, and don't try to numb them. You will survive, and in the meantime just have the hurt. Journaling can help.

Open a word document and just type type type until you are tired and then go to sleep.

A warm bath -- and a good cry.
A phone call to a friend if you have one that is safe and will support you.

I am very sorry you are going through this, but remember "there is nothing inside of you that is bigger than you" --- you can get through this.  Your feelings are legimate, but they are temporary.

Set a timer, if you have to -- allow yourself a set limit of time to feel terrible each day --- and then agree to move forward with something productive until the next day --- 15 minutes, an hour, whatever you need --- but you can't let this consume you.

Make a promise that you will not hurt youself or anyone else because you are hurting.

I know you're hurting right now---but based on things you've posted about him here, I think you've made a VERY wise move. Stay strong, and remember that it's better to live alone than to wish you did.

 for me, when I get all frustrated and stuff from the house, kids, granddkids, hubby, etc.... I turn on the PS3 and put my Call of Duty:Black Ops in and kill zombies...   OR  play a game of Angry Birds on my cell phone.   That normally works in the winter..  In the summer, I go in the pool use a couple floaties to rest on and relax in peace n quiet.  The water is so calm and I am by myself in the pool.
