I Will Never Ever Eat Ice cream Ever Again!  I am almost 5 months out and thought I would try a small amount of ice cream for the first time.  Well never ever again will I do that.  I don’t think I have ever been that sick.  I could not stop vomiting and felt like I was going to die.  Guess I experienced dumping syndrome.

Yup, sounds like you did! Took me three tries with ice cream before I learned my lesson. Actually I'm grateful- ice cream was my downfall pre-surgery.

I am the same way- I even was dumb enough to try the "No Sugar Added" "diet" ice cream, thinking I could have a little of that....nope- dont ever want to try that again!!

At 8 years out, ice cream is still that one thing that can make me very ill.  Regular or sugar free doesn't matter.  All of it can make me sick.  Milk will do the same thing.  I have developed an intolerance for it I guess.
