Lawd Tink ... you make me sound 'good-er' than I really am ... sometimes I am running on just a prayer and a press ... and when that fails I give myself a mental shot of Geritol or a mental kick to get my old carcass in gear ... Sometimes the PUSH that gets me going come from just a short visit into the before .. with 5 co-morbidities and impaired mobility ... the thought of going back there is enough to get me going....

Thank YOU my beautiful sista ... for the encouragement always...

I love how you celebrate yourself and your accomplishments- you are a terrific role model for that as well as working your WLS. You help keep me on track- thanks!

My dear sista runner ... you are doing an awesome job yourself ... isn't it AWESOME to be able to run at our age and feel so good afterward ... I always liked running and swimming ... track/swimming and water polo where my most favorite sports I participated in through school and college ... then life happened ... and I could no longer run in my condition ... but for all the years I could not run I would encourage both DD and DS to do so ... we used to go to the track where I would try to walk and they would run but then I would get winded real quick and start wheezing and gasping for air and had to sit like real quick... when I think about that I run even faster or longer distance...

You dear lady are an inspiration. I love reading your posts they are a lite at the end of the tunnel for me.
I am still pre op, I just got cleared by the therapist. Now for the nutritionist and physical therapy. I am over joyed at your progress. You remind me of my old self. the person I fully intend to get back to being.
And I loved your tip about using the panty hose for the arms and such. Any other lil hints and helps you have discovered along the way?, please post them  because they are a huge help to me. I am sure there are things that you have gone through, with all of this. that i have never Even thought of. and you are soooo crafty i just love it.
when do you think i should start my pics? should i do it now, before so i can see how far i have come as time passes? Or wait till rite when i get home from hospital and fallow my progress that way?
Again THANK YOU  for the wonderful and fun info and camaraderie.
