MaryCathrine, your body NEEDS protein in order to repair and replace cells which are constantly being destroyed or simply wearing out. Sure, you want to stay at a good weight---but not at the cost of losing your health. Eventually your body WILL start feeding on itself. Would you rather weight a few more pounds and be alive, or make a good-lookin' corpse, dead because your heart gave out?
First stop beating yourself up.
Second, look into counselling.
When you are ready, you will do it for yourself.

I have used the book The Beck Diet Solution to help me learn to think like a thin person. The brain literally needs reprogramming.
There is also the group Getting Back on Track Together here on OH- look under Community, then Groups.
It's sure a constant challenge, isn't it? I don't drink much alcohol because I eat more when I do. And with my family and personal history, I don't want a transfer addiction.
