There are lots ( TOO MANY ) tiny little ethnic neighborhoods here in NYC to COUNT . In a way its really cool .. you get to try all kinds of new spices and foods .. but I just got thoroughly SPANKED for my daring .

I am coming back to OH after a long hiatus. I am here because I need to get Back on Track (yes, I have joined the group!!
).
I have to say, though...that OH looks VERY different to me than what is was back in 2007/2008. There used to be hundreds of posts per day and I am not seeing that now. Is it is because of the way the forum is moderated? I know there was an OH staffer here several years ago (Amy something) who was very cool, very active...but I think she was pushed out. And it seems that, at least the forum part, has been in decline ever since.
OH was critical in my WLS success. The people here are amazing...so supportive. I hope that the moderators listen to the concerns of the people who support it.
I, for one, love your b-tchfests. I think we need one every day to stay sane!

Those of you who have been here for a while know that I post a Wednesday "B*TCHFest" to provide an outlet for people who have no day-to-day means to vent. Most people seem to like it, some of you have told me that you look forward to it, and some of you thank me for posting it when you've been having a particularly bad day.

For you NEW KIDS, HERE ARE THE RULES:
"B*TCHFest" is provided as a public service to those of us who have gripes and grievances but who (whom?), for whatever reason, lack a regular forum in which to air them. You are welcome to voice any problems - large or small, important, mundane or ridiculous - that currently have your panties wadded, your shorts frosted and your gears ground. Don't hold them in and risk future medical issues, wrinkles and/or those pesky gray hairs.
ANY and ALL issues that are plaguing you are open for you to voice; there are no "sacred cows." They say that "feelings aren't facts", so if you're feeling it, it's legit to you. NO ONE is allowed to flame a poster for something he or she writes, however commiseration is not only welcomed but encouraged. Please, no personal attacks against other OH members (at least, not by name) and ABSOLUTELY NO SURGERY WARS!
I'll start you off with a few gripes of mine, and you all can join in at any time! No limits - come back as many times as you like!

I'm tired and crank today, so God only knows what will happen once I get going.
- To my band: you cranky little ******! I just went to the gym, spent an hour and a half there doing seriously mean things to my body, and now it needs some nutrition. Would you PLEASE ease up and let me eat something? Thanks, loads.
- To the cosmos: can I please go a month (or 6) without any more major traumas that require an outlay of cash to alleviate? No car repairs, no furnace repairs, etc.? Thanks, loads.
- To big pharma: can you explain to me why a generic version of one of my DH's medications is only TEN DOLLARS cheaper than the brand name? $154 instead of $164 is no big savings. D-bags.
- To the guy at the gym who believes that the "no cell phone" rule doesn't apply to him: next time you sit your ass on the pec fly machine just to chat for ten minutes, I am knocking your ass on the floor!

I think the mods are trying to justify their jobs .
Happened with City inspectors too when a bunch of em got laid off ... the remaining ( and the cheaper new hires ) became INCREDIBLY TOUGH ... justifying three or four return visits and extra application fees where there was only one or ( rarely ) two before .
Needless to say it just about killed all the new construction and renovations in the City . Its VERY easy to turn potential investors off and make em take their money to the next town ...
( We the members here of course invest our TIME and energy ..and without our input the site is nothing .. )

I'm on the treadmill working out this morning gasping for air and trying to make it through my workout and then this lady gets on the treadmill next to me and has so much perfume on... not only am I gasping for air but now gaging...........oh and the worse thing was that if she was trying to cover up her BO it wasn't working.....
So to the lady at the gym BO and perfume do not a good combination make.....and it doesn't cover it up.
