Victoza ?? for Weight Loss??

Has Anyone heard of Victoza for weight loss ?? Does any one know a dr in Houston in where I can get it precribed ??

All I know is Paula Deen is hawking it and she doesn't seem to have lost any weight.

I think I'd rethink the Victoza thing. JMHO

I am currently taking Victoza, and my doc actually gave me a sample for 2 weeks and I love it. I have lost 10lbs. and you really have to watch what you eat, because if you eat too much you will feel really nauseated. I have kept it at the lowest dose and havent had any side effects,because when I increased it I felt nauseated. Remember its not insulin its an injection that helps with your sugars,especially if your a diabetic. My sugars have not been this good in a long time. I definitely feel better.I havent filled the script yet to see the cost. I will when my samples run out at the end of the week.I no longer take metformin, so hopefully this is the answer for me.I would still act your doc if they have samples or ask if they refer you for the prescript.Hope that helps....As far as Paula Deen if she keeps eating the way she cooks Victoza wont help. That is a new drug so remember that shes probably sponsering it, and Victoza doesnt work for everybody,just like a diet.

Google Victoza snd you'll read about it's uses. Mostly for Type II diabetes as a treatment to bring down AIC numbers and blood sugar levels.
