Very low b12 - will periods restart after shots?
I don't think that is usually a symptom of low B12.

oh my goodness, that is the lowest b12 level I have every seen in a postop. It is dangerously low and I am not sure if it can stop your periods it can cause serious problems. The normal range is 200-900 but that is for non-surgery patients - we need our levels to be more like 1200-1800. Anything less than 500 puts you at risk for nerve damage and if left that way for a period of time, it can become permanent. IT also affects your cognitive functions and I have seen postops hospitalized for seriously low levesl and were unable to walk - also had seriously low B1 levels. You should get all your B levels checked - b1, b6, folate and if possible B2 abd B3 - once 1 b vitamin defieincy makes you prone to others.
You said you started shots 2 months ago -how often? With alevel that low, you should be doing them atleast once per week and possibly more. When I got down to 400, my surgeon had me do them daily for 1 week and then go back to my normal dose of 3 times per week. Now I am back to 1400 - 9 months later.
Do you have numbness or tingling, pins and needles in your hands, feet, fingers or toes? This is a sign that nerve damage is setting in - it can be reversed if caught early
