 . . . for when your desired image(s) are too big for OH's avi specs (100 x 100 pixels).

Okay, let's walk you through this.

1. Put your digital pix onto your computer and decide which one you want as your avatar.

2. Go to www.shrinkpictures.com/create-avatar/

3. Follow the steps there, setting the avatar size at 100 pixels.

4. Click on "resize."

5. In a second, you will be taken to a screen with 3 versions of your avatar. Right-click on the one or ones you want to save, then select "SAVE IMAGE AS" and save it to your computer.

6. Back on OH, near the top of every page, you will see MY OH. Hover over it and a menu will appear. Under SETTINGS, select MANAGE AVATAR.

7. Choose your file from shrinkpictures and upload it.

8. Ta-da!

Most picture hosting sites have this software also, Flickr users Picnik, Photobucket has editing software to resize also,  once resized save to your computer and upload as your new avatar.  As Bette says it must be 100x100 pixels, not one pixel larger or it will reject.  Too small and it will stretch and skew.
