I feel so thirsty but have to just sip.  Will I always be sipping or can I see a swig in my future?

For me and my doc's ofc protocol I was cleared at 3 months to drink fluids as tolerated (edited to explain - to gulp or drink as fast as tolerated). So, depending on the doc you more than likely will not be sip, sipping forever.

I gulp at 9 months out, but not like pre surgery.  You feel that full pretty fast, but it goes away fast too then you can gulp again

Baby, you will be able to gulp.

I remember the frustration. ice chips helped a lot.  So did, slightly warm tea and liquids.  cold drinks ofcourse contract (anything) the pouch.

It goes away fairly quickly (I was gulping probably by my 2nd month...not that I'd recommend it...I just did it cause i could.
hee hee

you WILL be able to eat/drink like a normal person one day...it will happen sooner than you think..

Not only will gulping happen sooner than you think, but so will the threat of other bad habits.

Im almost 9 months out and it took till the last month or so and I can gulp...maybe 1-3 nice big swallows and then I feel full. Thought the sipping would last forever!
