OT: New Portrait just finished today....

Just completed another project today and wanted to share. This portrait is taken from a photo of my friends grandparents, who both had fell asleep just after arriving from a long drive to see her. The good news is I have two more portraits lined up waiting to be drawn, and more people at work expressing interest. Woohoo I'm going to start a savings fund for the dentures I want.
At fifty bucks apiece, this may take my a while but at least I am having fun. This one was the one I've enjoying drawing most. They just seem so sweet. They are actually newlyweds since this was her grandmas' new husband.

5.0 cc in a 10cc lapband (four fills) 1 unfill of .5cc on 5/24/2011.
.5 fill March 2012. unfill of .25cc May 2012. Unfill of .5cc June 2014.

Still with my lapband with no plans for revision. Band working well since

last small unfill.

You are so talented! You are giving them away at $50. You could easily charge much more. I have seen much worse going for a lot more.

Lap Band on 08/25/10

Wow . I appreciate so much all the super comments. I never ever imagined that I would ever get paid for my drawings. My grandma always saved the "You can draw this" page from the weekly tv guides for me to draw and I think she saved them all.

I got new glasses this week so I think my improved vision has greatly helped as well. I am already halfway through my next portrait: a younger couple who are both awake

. I struggled so much with my new contacts that I practically gave myself a black eye. I may have to rethink contacts unless I can leave them in for at least a week at a time.
