I'm doing wonderful! It wasn't really a surgery, whole process took like ten minutes. He stuck a big ass needle in my back and drained it out. My soreness is almost completely gone. I go in on Wednesday to get another xray with my PCP, just to make sure.

Tastes change after surgery. It's just that everyone's tastes change differently, just like everyone's tastes were different pre-op.

String cheese absolutely bleah for me too.

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22

There are numerous types and brands - try something you haven't tried in the past. It is true your taste buds change - you have to change with them.

My tastes changed for a lot of things post-op. Over time it lessens, but rest assured that this is normal.
