Call your PCP  and ask for a neuro consult Pronto.  What one neuropathy  or Fibro med does or does not do side effect , wise may or may not do to another Patient.  The thing is GET HELP . Please do not suffer like this, this pain is insufferable. I have endured  all the   Fibro/ Neuropathy  meds with one side effect or another .. thru the years . The last go round was Lyrica , the side effect left me  Dead Tired  and some weight gain.  I wish you the best  , most of all relief of pain and to be better.

Topamax is about all I can use ... It is known in the Medical industry  as " Dopamax" not for a High feeling but for the memory loss issues. I have to  take It and am sadly rendered the Village idiot!  :(  But,  I can't  do with out it  do to health issues. That particular side effect of memory issues is pretty common. I also get   some numbness and timeliness, its  a decent trade of for me  for the relief I get ,  even if... I am Lost as a goose most days. I  don't have much of a choice really ....suffer or take the Topamax.  Topamax  it is, after all the trial and errors of all the other medications thru the years on the market. Every Patient  just have to find what works the best with the least , most bearable side effects. If I could wave a magic wand... I'd Cure Cancer ... Then work My way  down the medical issues list ..to Bring Wholeness and  health to us all!

My husband suffered with neuropathy for quite sometime.  A few months ago he went to a clinic that specializes in the treatment of neuropathy and had great success.  He had tried all the drugs with no success.  He is not diabetic so they really don't know what caused his.

We live in Missouri but I'm sure there are clinics that do these treatments in other cities.  Google it and see if you can find something in your area.

Hope you get relief soon.
