Neuropathy due to malabsorbsion?
Thanks for all the help ladies, Joeo, I was trusting that My Dr was doing what was in my best interest, I now know that isn't right.
There is a correction I have to make I had a BPD surgery NOT a DS. However, when I first joined DS was the closest I could find for my profile and I can not change it. I am going to write to the help people to do it for me. Of course BPD is worse but had to have it because of vigorous achalagia in the esophogus.
I am sorry to hear of your drop foot issues, that is not fun and can not be repaired well, can it?
I am going to scour the web until I find all of the correct levels and print them out for further study. I got too lax about this and that isn't good.

Anna,
My foot drop did clear up with shots. I started them that day.
Here is a good site for lab help: http://labtestsonline.org/

Yes, I remember when you were pre-op, and the achalagia poblem. Your vitamin issues will be similar to those of DSers, but you'll probably have more trouble with iron and the B complex, since you have no lower stomach or duodenum any more.
I suggest a spread sheet, and tracking your levels each time you're tested. Spotting trends BEFORE you're actually deficient helps keep on track.
