Stomic aches

Every couple of months I been having pains in my stomic that feel like someone has kicked me in it. Or even like I'm starving even when I know I just ate. Is there anyone out there that could share with me what may be going on? It has gotten so bad that I have had to take time off of work because I can barely stand up strait.

I'm experiencing the same thing!!! Pain so bad it feels like someone has their hands around my upper rib cage and is squeezing me to death. Pain sometimes lasts an hour or longer. I've been off work 3 days now!!
Currently I'm waiting on xray results and stool sample results. I already had a CT scan and they didn't find a hernia or blockage. They think.maybe a bacterial infection or blockage somewhere else but no answers yet.
Have you gone to the Dr??

Kathy,

No, I haven't gone to Dr as of yet. I have no insurance right now so I have been waiting. But
it's getting to the point where I'm gonna have to go soon. Keep me posted if you can to let me know what they say. And thank you!

I'll keep u posted...
One thing I do have to share is exreme heat on either you back or stomach helps take the pain away a little. If you song have a bean bag to heat in the microwave try a heating pad.....as hot as you can stand it...

Go to the ER.  Insurance or not, they will take a look at you and give you the help you need.  Don't wait.  Best for you.

Hernia may not show on CT scan. I had hernia 2 times and my CT scans were normal.

pain indicates issue:
it can be: (most common)
- ulcer - pill can take care of that in most cases
- twisted intestains due to hernia or adhesions - need surgery for that.
- GB issue  - GB removal..

or anything else...

This also happens to me. I have a hard time figuring out weather it is dehydration (so I drink more) , constipation (so I take a stool softener), or gas (so I take gas ex) I too relate it to hunger pains I had in the past and do not want to feel hungry knowing I have eaten recently. Usually these things do work. Good luck
