ha yes, bumps in the roads. My surgeon was just on the phone with me and clarrified that.

I have a water bottle right next to me =] Im doing it!

I HAD A BOWEL MOVEMENT!!!  it hurt like hell! there is still a little ball I'm waiting on in there but I feel a lot better now. I had lots of blood in my stool. It felt like I tore an incision. I didn't of course.... but I've never had constipation before. At least to that extent.


Should I continue to take milk of magnesia daily for the next couple days to avoid all this pain?

probably,but maybe at a reduced dose so you won't go te other direction. glad u went,yeah kinda feels like the proverbial"rip a new one" don't it?

Good on your for keeping your water bottle close enough to sip every couple minutes.

Yeah, I mean I thought my eyes were going to pop out of my head lol! But enough about that! 

I have to get under some blankets, I am sooo cold now, I had four blankets and my heat really high and I'm still cold, but I know this is normal.
