OH Rox Round Rock (Texas) Support Group Meeting
Calling all Round Rock and surrounding area folks. Mark your calendars we will be having our first meeting of 2012 on Saturday, January 21st at IKEA at 10:30 am.
We all could use some support and friends who understand what we have been through and are going through. That being said lets start 2012 off right and get OH Rox Round Rock, rocking again! We want to keep this meeting semi informal, I'm trying to invite a lot of people to hopefully get the word out so we can have a supportive and motivational group. I want everyone to feel welcome and have fun so we can feel safe in this environment with these people and really help each other out.
At this meeting some things to expect:
Welcome/ Introductions – Monique (mxekin65), Michael (liquidman69) and I (JenniferScott) will start things off. Then we will open it up to anyone else who wants to introduce themselves. You are not required to get up and talk so don't feel obligated to and don't let this scare you from joining us.
The Holidays – Let's talk about your struggles and victories and see how others managed all that food!
Future Meetings – Let's talk about future meetings. Do you like meeting at IKEA? Do have a suggestion of somewhere else? Does 10:30 a.m. work for you? This isn't my support group it is all of ours so please bring any ideas you might have.
Being that I live in South Austin I am offering to have a separate meeting in South Austin for anyone who is interested. Sometimes we are busy the 3rd Saturday of the month but still want/need the support of the group. You are welcome to come to both meetings but the main purpose is to get more people involved and have more options for people so we can all be successful. Let's plan the details! I am available any day during the week 6 p.m. or after and am open to anytime on the weekends.
Q&A – Ask anything, no question is off limits. I know you know but I have to say it we are not Doctors so the answers to the questions are going to be from our experiences, please consult your Doctor too if necessary.

I'm excited you are interested in the South Austin meeting. I'm not sure when it will start we are doing the planning for it at the meeting I posted above so if you can come and help us get it started that would be great. The more people who are interested will make it easier to get it going so if you know anyone else who may be interested please spread the word.
