Cannoli sadness.

OK, so I'm not really that sad, but I am a little upset that I will no longer eat cannolis.

I didn't eat them often, but I do love a good cannoli. And to add insult to injury my father just posted that he was making some. =/ haha.

I think someone should invent a sugar free cannoli flavored syrup for my protein shakes.

=D

Merry Christmas!

Pssst.... when you hit goal wt just try to eat a couple of teaspoons of the filling...that's what I do once  a yr to get my Cannoli fix.

It's for me the pasta, lasagna I miss the most and still don't eat.... It's the Ny'er in me that misses Italian food..but believe me my size 8 jeans make up for it all

I'm Italian so I know all about pasta and I'm going to miss that too! lol. I used to eat it at least 3 days a week, and wasn't so worried about my portion sizes. I didn't get this big eating rational amounts.

size 8... Sounds like something in a dream. lol. Very happy for you!

I feel your pain because I love cannolis too! But eggface makes these Strawberry cannoli santas and they are too cute!! I have not tried them yet, but how can they be bad?!

What a cute idea! And they don't look bad at all. Thanks!

I just mix some ricotta cheese with a little vanilla syrup and some splenda to taste and make a bowl of cannoli filling.

So true! I guess it won't be as bad as I thought. It's just going to take some getting used to! =]

Aww, now I do feel sorry for you.  I guess I won't tell you about the ricotta cheese pies I made this morning.

You can certainly have ricotta, sweet or savory.  Use some truvia or spenda, mix it up, grate a little orange zest in there, a few drops of vanila.  If fat doesn't matter to you, use some marscapone or cream cheese in the mix.

I know, I am bad, but I can't get the Italian out of me, so why fight it.
