You are absolutely right.  But please keep in mind the fact that it's the OH admins who have caused this.

I come to OH because I almost made a BAD mistake. I feel obligated to 'pay forward' the information that was given to me. I don't give a big rat's as what form of WLS anyone chooses, as long as they choose from a place of KNOWLEDGE.

I've talked to you, and I'm pretty sure you DO know everything you need to. That pleases me, even though you've chosen a different form of WLS than I did. THAT'S OKAY, because you made an INFORMED choice. That's really all I want anyone to do.

You had the opportunity to research all your options. What's going to happen to other newbies, if no one tells them there are other options?

I loved the interaction we had. You guys drilled me and it was AWESOME. In all honesty I wish that OH would have Diana back (if she would even be willing to come back) and apologize publicly to her and everyone else they have clearly censored. I think it is outrageous. I just want all newbies to not come here, find drama, and their post possibly lost in the process--or worse--that they never post in fear of asking something "stupid". (I was raised by a father that instilled in us there are no stupid questions.)

I of course would want to pay it forward someday. However, I would not want to do it alone. I think everyones story is unique and valuable. I am afraid this is spinning so out of control people will build up so much resentment towards one another they may never come back. And that sucks. And OH wins. Boooooooo.

You are wrong about OH winning. And don't bother wishing for Diana, or me, to return. You want to interact with us, you know where to find us.

As much as you are over the posts getting hijacked with "our" posts, I'm over  the posts such as these. How many posts do we have to read that say they are tired of the other types of posts? How many times do we have to read "I know I'll take crap for this post, I know I will".....I believe Eric Klein said he invented the block button for a reason. Tailor the board to your liking.......

I cannot imagine someone bugging me enough to block them. I deal with real ******** in real life, this is nothing!

 They all cry its all about support but really what posts get the most hits and replies?  Now they all threaten to leave and start a new board but honestly all they have to talk about is the people here.  It's deja vu all over again and it will crash and burn just like the last basher site.  So childish!

You actually couldn't be more wrong. Sure, there are posts referencing posts and people here, but the majority of the posts picked up right where they left off here. People are getting invaluable support and advice over there. Without all the bull****

I typed up a long 4 paragraph response to this thread based on my own personal experience when I first joined this board... then I realized if I posted it I would probably get attacked by both sides. That's why I don't post much here (or on the new site where I also have an account).

The only place I'm really comfortable posting is on the local group for my state here (because I've met a bunch of those folks in person) and a few of the WLS groups on Facebook. Since people can't as easily hide behind avatars and pseudonyms, there seems to be less douchebaggery and folks are a lot friendlier and more supportive.
