Grow up.
Opinions are welcome, talking down to someone is not.
Enjoy your Saturday.
Actually you don't. Respect is something that is earned not something that is automatically given...just like IRL.

As mentioned, you can block if you don't like. I have chosen to block no one, though. If I dont like the message or the messenger, I just move on. Simple as that.
Loving my DS!!
I did block some people, but I wish this didn't need to be done. I didn't post this thread to argue with anyone, I just wanted the arguing to stop! I guess I was asking for to much in thinking we are all gown ups and should know how to act.
Thank you for your post.

For example, I spent 8 years working with the U.S. military in Kuwait. I don't cuss like a sailor. Oh no. I go way beyond that. I cuss like the Marines that taught me some extremely inventive and funny cussing. I'm pretty sure that if I were to start calling people rat ******* *** biscuit *** dumpsters some people would be offended. Others would think it was hilarious. All the people who are offended have to do is activate the adult filter and they would no longer have a problem. Customize your experience.

Or block me and don't get it at all.
Those are your only options.
No one here is bullied except by the forum nannies who enjoy following individual posters from thread to thread harassing them. The arguing will stop when people like you STOP instigating it.

And herein lies the problem - no one can "make" you feel anything; you CHOOSE to feel however it is you feel when you react to something. I could say something to you in the exact same manner that I say something to someone else, and you might be offended, while the other recipient is not. Some people NEED to be spoken to "like I'm an idiot;" sometimes, it's the only thing that hits home or sinks in. I once posted something about a certain type of shaker bottle or a straw or something, and someone called me a big baby (or something along those lines) for needing said type of cup or straw. You probably would have been offended by the comment I received. I just laughed and agreed.
Not everyone can offer the same sunshiney delivery because not everyone wants or needs that type of delivery. I don't often swear in my posts, nor do I stoop to name calling (unless in direct response to someone else who has already stooped there!), yet I know multiple people who have me blocked. I do not have to adjust my presentation of information or opinions just because someone perceives my style to be something it's not. Those who do swear or name call (or whatever else you deem to be disrespectful, as it is clearly open to interpretation) do not offend me; I don't have anyone blocked and likely never will, and I think any manner of communication would be pitifully dull if everyone went around walking on eggshells so as not to upset the positivity.
Oh wait, you won't see this message since you are one of them! Well maybe someone with more patience than me will let you know the service you've done for me.
