 Ummm you forgot the bacon wrapped shrimp and any other valuable bacon products that might be available! I might have the RNY but I eat like a DS'er hehehe...the more meat and cheese and bacon the better!

One of my favorite holiday appetizers (well, anytime appetizer, really!) are dates, de-pitted and filled with cream cheese then wrapped in maple bacon and baked in the oven.  OH MY, oh so good!!

Hope the mods approve this message before the holidays are over in case anyone would like to try it before the holidays are over.

I plan on following similar, but I'll be getting all my carbs in liquid form, aka alcohol, and none from anything I can chew...that's balanced, right????

Oh no, I only drink a few times a year!    That said, Xmas with the family merits a glass of wine or two.   Or 12!!!!

There are days I can drink more post-op than I EVER could pre-op, without feeling barely a thing. Then there are days when I'm nearly the one, two . . . FLOOR! I rarely drink, so it's not much of a problem-but it's weird how I can react differently each time (and I've already ruled out food intake).
