If your drinking has become a problem, your husband (and others) probably already know.  At least they know something is wrong - they may not know what.  There is a saying in AA that goes "We are as sick as our secrets."  Go.   Find a meeting where you feel welcome and comfortable.  It may take some "meeting shopping" to find this.  AA meetings are much like church -- the atmosphere depends on the people who go there.  One meeting can be very different from another.  Some attract young people; some attract businessmen; some attract biker dudes.  In my area, there are two meetings for women only.  Search the AA website for meetings in your area.   You may have to get in your car and drive 20 miles to find a good meeting.  Do it.  It could save your life.

If you find AA isn't enough, you might want to consider residential rehab.  Check your insurance for benefits.  If you have health coverage, they may only cover detox (3 to 5 days); then you would have to pay for anything beyond that.  Where I live, there are residential services that can be had for $800 to $1200 per month; this does not include detox or medical care.

But a lot of people got sober in AA long before there was treatment.   If you are serious about this, go to a meeting a day for 3 months.  That is basically putting yourself in treatment.  Good luck.
