I deleted my previous profile right before surgery after I had some nasty Pm's including calling me a "dumb fuck" I didn't need that kind of stress before surgery. Yes I had surgery two week after Stephanie.

In talking to the anesthesiologist before they wheeled me into surgery my husband and I were talking to him about stephanie's case. I told him the info I was told. No Hippa laws were breached as he had no personal knowledge of her. He was commenting on the information I gave him.I am sure that eases your mind.

That's unfortunate that someone would send you an e-mail like that.

I'm glad that your surgery was a success.

I'm glad he got you revised without issue. I've said it about RNY doctors too. They may need to learn somewhere but I'd rather it not be on me.

Good luck to you.
Just a personal comment.  I had a DS with a surgeon who apparently didn't have a lot of experience and wasn't that good at them.  I still think he is a good surgeon but not with the DS.  The DS takes a lot of skill and that skill comes from experience.  Back when I had my surgery there was no such thing as "vetted" surgeons or even dsfacts.com.  I wish there was.  I had nothing but problems and my surgery wasn't successful for me.  I see many people who had surgery around the time I did with experienced surgeons who are still doing well.  The point is, you may do fine with the surgery but what if the outcome isn't as good as it could have been with a more experienced surgeon?  Don't you want to have the best chance to lose your excess weight and keep it off?  To do that you need to pick a surgeon that has a proven track record of successful patients.  Mine didn't and I didn't know better.  I wish I had the resources available to me that people have now.  Don't blow off advice just because it isn't what you want to hear.  There are people who have been around and heard it all.  Really, if I had it to do all over again, knowing what I know now, I would have found a more experienced surgeon.

Just want to share what I did find on Dr. Juarez!!!
I couldn't have chosen a better surgeon, staff, and weight loss surgery center. rn Dr. Juarez is a soft spoken, intelligent, knowledgable, funny man. I first met him at my seminar in January and he was a laid back funny man who was very knowledgable about weight loss surgery. You can trust him with everythign when you go on that surgery table. He always greets you with a smile and an understanding. He comes to see you after surgery and you feel safe, and feel you are in good hands. rn This was just the surgeon. You also meet the peopel that will be in the surgery room with you. WOW these are some amazing INTELLIGENT people. They will exceed your expectations. You will feel very safe and under good care. rn The other staff, the dieticians, the billing people, the people that work with your weight loss surgery plan and do the meetings, classes. ARE WONDERFUL! so full of wisdom and care. The Bridges Centre is an all around good program. It is a team that was put together perfectly, and I was so lucky to be able to have my surgery through them. IM SO HAPPY!, and I hope this helps the many peopel that are searching for someone to give them their new life! All the best to everyone.
