Happy Surgiversary!! 4 years xpost
Hello my fellow WLS folks,
For those who don't know me...since I spend MOST my time on the VSG forum and they know my struggles etc. Anyway I'm a VSGer.
I am 4 years out (today or the 26) but I had my surgery the Monday after Thanksgiving so I count it as TODAY!! My original goal weight was 205, then I wanted 100lbs lost from surgery then I wanted 195 and then I wanted 180. In the midst of all that changing goal weights from October to January I went OFF program and gained from 195 to 216 which I am currently battling to get back off. The problem is I just don't FEEL like being as "strict" as I need to be in order to get it off. Feel free to read my profile if you'd like insight to me.
This year for my 4 year I'm going to open up the questions!! So ask away nothing is off limits or to personal to me!! Let's GO!!

The cool thing about the sleeve type stomach is how easy it is to ignore it when you're busy. I, too gained around 15-20 lbs at 4th and 5th post op years. Opening and working in my restaurant got me to shed 15 lbs in no time, without even trying. Today I'm right back at my goal. Instead of sitting down to structured dinners, I now graze and nibble when I get a chance. Who knew? Regardless of that little bit of regain, you've come a long way.
