Sister, good for you teaching kids that anything worth doing is worth doing right! Especially when it's for the good of another person! I have tried to teach my son that no work is worthless and the most menial job should be done right!

I think we learn as much from fixing our mistakes as we do from learning how to do the original activity!

I wanted to go to Consginment Originals and Uptown Consignments this weekend also because you know I love consignment also but for two reasons I skipped it,  I wanted sweaters and I am really picky and can't wear a sweater thats worn looking and the second reason is I really wanted to go spend hours with my swans down in Waterford.  They are all almost full grown and so gorgeous, I went Friday, Saturday and Sunday and took over 900 pictures in all.  I have to down load them tonight if I ever get out of work.  Uggh.

Love both dresses, you rock.  The hats are an awesome idea also, I donated all my old coats to Goodwill they were giving them out to the homeless yesterday.

Good for you for on donating your coats for such an AWESOME cause.  The only consignment store I ever shop at is the one in Orange, CT in a boutique type setting they won't even consider consigning anything with a snag or a spot even ... I have seen them turning stuff away for less than that .. they do not take any item that is not in mint condition ...a whole bunch of my friends and peers consign there ... I do not consign but my daughter does ...  I once went to the store in Cheshire and turned right around and came back home .. I did not like the layout nor the disarray ... I know most of the consignors at the branch I go to just a few streets away from where I live and I love not only shopping there but bringing the teens/tweens from the outreach center and splurging on them especially around back to school time or near prom time they all call me up and I just have a ball with them ... I get a lot of the VIP cards filled... I wouldn't dream of putting on anything with a snag and I look for the many items with the tags still intact that they often have like my BCBG dress i got last week .. not ever worn it was a great bargain ... I took a couple of my OH friends to the Orange store and they had a blast ... 

I love making most of my clothes ... I love Baker's for my shoes and would hop on the train or drive in to the big Apple to shop with my DD and have a blast also ...but I still love my playpen......

Can't wait to see your AWESOME PHOTOGRAPHY...wow 900 takes and I bet each one is prettier than the other... last time you shared those pics were so beautiful they looked as though they were popping out the screen ... they were just AWESOME ... I can't wait for you to share some!!!
