Another NSV

I feel like my coupons on NSV's are going to expire soon..or someone here is going to tell me to shut up.   This has been a fantastic month and a half.

So Wednesday I fought pre-Black Friday traffic and went across town to Lane Bryant. I bought two pair of pants, only tried on one and went home.

I can now get into a twenty...which means I'll be shipping my 22's to someone in Oregon very soon. 

I can't TELL you the last time I saw a 20, and back in May before my surgery I couldn't get pants in a regular store. I believe I was a 32.  I think I was in my twenties the last time I saw "20" in a waist band (I'm in my 40's now). And I took a picture which I posted on Facebook yesterday morning and I keep staring at it. I cannot believe the changes.

Next weekend I meet up with my mom and dad four hours south of me for a family thing. My mom was in town a month ago, but I haven't seen my dad since last November (they're in Florida, I'm in Michigan). It'll be interesting to see his reaction.

Last night with my friend's family was cool. Her brother in law gave me a big hug and told me I looked fantastic. He was drunk, but I took the compliment. 

I'm so stupidly happy, and I still have yet to hit my goal!

 That is SO awesome! I love watching the numbers go down. Congrats on the NSV, it's a great one!

NSV coupons never expire, everyone loves to read them, and for those whodnt, they just skip the posts that have NSV in the subject line.

Getting into smaller sized clothes s such a boost, and when you buy something thinking, I will wear it in a few weeks or a month... And then you try it on and it fits!! I have let out a few shrieks in the dressing room.

I have to confess, I get into the dressing room, get something on that fits and walk out to where the three sided mirror is. BUT I look through the store for the person who was helping me because mentally I want to gloat and I want to hear I really do look cute in those pair of jeans.

Such a far cry from the woman six months ago who couldn't be peeled off the couch to go anywhere.

I was 44 yrs old when I had WLS..my BLACK colored, stretchy material,  pants label read size 34W..my tee shirt (also the "oh so slimming BLACK" was a 5X...I wore those to the hospital, on surgery day, and they are the only pre op clotes I kept...occasionally-at nearly 10 yrs out-when I think MY NSV coupons have expired, I get those clothes out, put them on-and gloat a little as they promptly fall off and hit the floor!

You will find "numbers" are just "numbers"..and yea, most of us care about them..but you just can't beat those NSV!!
