I am pre-op but  One of my breast was first to go I have one that is a ample DD and one that is now a C I almost cried in Lane Bryant's fitting room I called the fitter over who had just fitted me for advice. The poor woman did not know what to say (she suggested a D cup to meet in the middle) So I overflow one cup and get lost in one but with a shirt on it looks ok.

Aw... so sorry to hear. Is plastic surgery an option for you?

I went from a 42DD to a 34F at my smallest.  I am 49 and don't need plastics.  They are really pretty good considering.  At your age, they may be just fine!

I have lost just over a hundred pounds and had surgery at 32.  I went from a 44DD to a 36D.  I think the more important question to ask is what shape your body is and what shape were your breasts before surgery, meaning the actually shape of them.  I have an apple shape meaning I carry most of my excess weight in the torso including breasts, and although I still have large breasts my nipple pointed down before surgery and also after surgery.

Hence, I've lost all of the weight needed from the hips down, but still need to loose excess fat above my abdomen, flank, and upper torso area.  My upper body is now approx. large/12 and lower body is sm/med or size 6/8.  Very different sizes.

As for the intimacy issue(it  becomes less important with maturity on his and her part), if you get to that level with someone, it might be an issue for you, but if it is definitely an issue for him, then he can **** OFF!!!  Someone *****ally loves you, won't care.

Very true. As for my shape... it's a big blob. LOL...

I thought my body was a big blob too, but if you take your measurements of hip and true waist, you will get a good idea where your weight will come off faster.  even at a size 24(only 5'6) my waist was so much bigger than my hips even though I did not know until my 1st visit with  my surgeon where they took those two measurements.  Now they are approx. the same size so clothing sizes are different (hips should be wider than waist).

Also pay attention to stretch marks on upper half of breast, if you don't have any yet or they are new, you might end up with a better shape/nipple position after surgery.  I only lost my weight 1 other time when I was 20/21 and my breasts looked pretty good.  10 years and another massive weight gain makes a huge difference.

Oh good info! I do have some stretch marks on by upper breasts. but not to bad. I guess I will just have to wait and see what happens!

Doesn't matter right now anyway.  You will feel so much better with the excess weight gone.  I can move around and even run, yes run, when I couldn't before(even after loosing the weight when I was a decade younger).  my body is so much more efficient.  Even when i get "sick", which used to be 2x/year sinus and terrible respiratory infections which lasted about 2 months each, are now a minor cold at most lasting only a few days with no meds.  I almost never even know that I'm sick.

however if you have the ability to save $10-20 a week for possible plastics I would do it.  I never think I have extra income, except I have 50/week directly deposited from my checking to savings.  Now my savings is more than I ever thought it could be, even with unexpected expenses.

i'm not seriously planning surgery just yet since I want to tone my body first, but the money is there because I sacrifice, I mean really sacrifice to save the money.  Don't wait till you are close to goal to think about saving $ for plastics, start now!!!

Yeah deff am going to start soon. It's hard because I have a huge trip next summer that I am saving for, but I will find a way to save some money for plastics just in case

I went from a 48 DDDD(I think, it was the biggest D's they had at Lane Bryant) to a 38 DD/DDD.  They really looked like those long party balloons.  I had so much skin it was sad.  If you are having rashes now, I hate to say it will only get worse after WLS.  Mine did that is for sure.  I have Kaiser, and had my Primary Doctor document my issues, he sent me to a dermatologist, and when I was stable in my weight I saw their Plastic Surgeon.  He approved me on the reduction because of the rash alone, and not even my back issues I had started having.  Sadly I do not have enough for the Panni removal, so that will be all on me.  But I LOVE my new boobies, they are so perky, and to be honest, its almost like a gift to myself.  I wore a lot of compression like tanks to pu**** all in before surgery so it now feels good to let them go...lol
Best of luck
