First of all, congratulations on your weight loss success!  You are to be commended for the good work you did.

Secondly, if I may be so bold to jump in and say this, please be gentle with yourself.  You have gone through huge emotional upheavals and great sadness.  I don't mean to say that you should continue on this path, but as I think it was Kelly said, making some small changes can help. You are obviously self-aware and have many tools available to you which can help you through this.

I am so sorry for all the loss you have experienced.  As others have posted, you and your family are in our prayers.

With much aloha,
Barb

Barb,

Thank you so much! I hadnt come to OH for ?? a long time...but I needed to this time! I love this sight...and always try to be "support" here... try hard to never offend or challenge people's decisions....but, when it comes to support for me... I forget... that THIS IS the place!
:-)

I have started making changes as of this week...thanks for your support and your prayers.

I know what you are speaking about when you talk about having a difficult year.  Death of a parent is always difficult.....the other things just make things worse.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.  "Prayer changes things." Remember that your mother would want you to be healty and happy.

You can get the weight thing together.  Just take one step at a time...one day at a time.

Thanks for your support! I do believe in prayer... and I have seen how "Prayer indeed changes things".

Thank you.

I am so very sorry for your loss, I hope your sister has a great surgery and recovery and she is able to walk again.  I completely understand how gaining makes you feel miserable, I am just sitting here thinking how pissed at myself I am as I had lost back to goal a few months ago and since then I have eaten all sorts of junk and now my nice comfy clothes are tight again and I am mad at myself.  You would think I would learn one of these damn times.  But NOOOOO.  So I am with you back on the diet bandwagon, I ate a bunch of little candies last night so today I am fasting to cleanse and punish myself at the same time.

Good Luck!
