Go to the RNY forum. It is a lot less rude and forceful. If you want to know about the DS, follow Dianna's link and ask any other questions on the DS board, you know, where people who have actually HAD the surgery are to be found.

And your point is?
She was trying to find a site to ask questions and not be made jest of because she is not as educated as you guys seem to think you are.
If you call having the real truth told to be rude, then I'm sorry. Everyone has a different way of putting things...it's called individualism. I'm bipolar myself...as nuts as the day is long, and a stack of mental papers as thick as a New York phone book to prove it. I've been on this site "lurking" for years, read the surgery wars, had my jaw drop sometimes, got honked off at "forum cops", but everyone has a say in something. It's how you choose to view their message, or even IF you choose to, that counts.
I'd rather have a blunt truthful response than a sugar coated load of bullsh** any day of the week....even if it did offend my uncertain sensibilities.

Yep I do. Individualism can be that with out being rude and insensitive to other people. If this is what you gals pride yourselves in then so be it. I will read what you say and take what I think is best for me and let the other go out the other ear. Bipolar?????? I know a lot of bipolar folks and they aren't rude. Did not realize that that was a symptom of being bipolar. Learn something new everyday.
As you have stated we all have ways we would rather something be presented.
