I have a feeling its going to be a bad one too ... we bought in wood last night it was real chilly and my albino ferret has been growing hair like a poodle ... that should be indicative of a bad winter to come ... and I thought last year was bad YIKES...

I hold it off from Chicago for a bit ... when you guys get hit you DO get hit with A LOT of the white stuff don't you.... it looks sooooooooooooooo pretty though ... before they sand it down that is ... it is just sticking in certain spots .. it is coming down hard but is supposed to taper off... and hopefully go away...

We had our SECOND snow storm this past Wednesday! Both have given us at least 6 inches of snow and brought down tree branches and power lines cos we still had a lot of leaves on the trees - not so much now!!!!

Some of our slopes didn't close until July and were back open in early October ...

Ohhhhhhhh I would die to just gaze at the snow covered slopes ... WOW 6 inches ...two storms... less than a week .. We are having the same warning with the branches and power lines ..the leaves are STILL on the trees ... I thought this was FALL ???

The good thing is you live in an AWESOME winter wonderland where you can ski and do sooooooooooooo many winter fun sports and stuff ... it is BEAUTIFUL out there ... here it is pretty while it is falling and for a few hours till the plows come out ... then drivers start going nuts ... and there is salt, sand. mud and mess LOL ... for winter fun we have to go Upstate NY or to Vermont LOL

All so true - I used to live in Pennsylvania and snow wasn't nearly as pretty as it is here ...  We (usually) get blue skies and white powdery stuff as opposed to the grey skies and wet slush!!!!

Stay safe and warm x
