SHE NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE ME... talking about you BETH!
YUP I AM TALKING ABOUT MELTING MAMA BETH AND HER AWESOME PHOTOGRAPHY....
The woman has it and she makes a camera ROCK ... even when one is not even posing ... I LOVE LOVE LOVE MM Photography....some of my best and most treasured photos taken at OH Conferences were taken by her and there are some of my most cherished memories ... I have them in my empowerment journal ... dated and with the photographer's name...
I met Beth in person for the very first time in 2008 ... It was at the OH Philly Conference that she snapped this picture of myself, Ramon and Debbie ....
In 2009 she surprised me with this picture that she took at the 2009 OH Conference in RYE, New York
and my husband took these of Beth and I at that same event OH Conference Rye New York 2009
Why would I be surprised that Beth captured a very special moment for me at the recent OH Conference in Long Island this weekend? Very candidly she has made my day without even knowing it ...
At the conference I was looking for Cyn, another OH member at the conference because I had painted a canvas of her back in 2010 and never got a chance to get it to her ...when she said she was going to the conference I replied to her on Kim's sticky thread that I would love to see her because I wanted to hand her something ...she knew what I was talking about too and I was so excited to get a chance to meet the lady...
I did not see her the first night at the meet and greet although she was there -- I did not recognize her in costume ... on Saturday I had the envelope with the canvas in it just in case I would see her at any of the awesome workshops. On a break I went into the vendors area and was looking around ... shoot .. I painted her so I must be able to recognize her right? and I did ... we spotted each other at the same time ... how awesome is that? She was standing at Beth's booth packed with awesome goodies that booth was...
As I walked towards Cyn I took the canvas out of the envelope just as she was saying "I KNOW YOU!!" ... Beth had her camera and took some pics randomly ... I hate how I look with my face or eyes doing things sometimes LOL but Beth ALWAYS takes manages good pictures of me ... ... I saw these on her FB page ...and I had to copy them over to my digital journal ...
THANK YOU MELTING MAMA ... FOR CAPTURING THESE SO SPECIAL MOMENTS IN THE LIFE OF THIS OLD FART SISTA....
Me walking towards Cyn with canvas I painted in hand...
I had the pleasure of handing her my painting of her in person...
and again a wonderful surprise by Beth's Photography ... AL, MY DH AND I LOVE THIS one...
I HAVE MET SOME AWESOME PEOPLE ON OH ... IRL AND IN CYBERSPACE ... I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR THIS AWESOME GROUP OF PEOPLE WALKING THE JOURNEY OF LIFE TOWARDS BETTER HEALTH TOGETHER....
Thank you all for allowing me to share another goofy AW thread ... little things that make me happy... I was soooooooooo happy to meet Cyn and equally or happier yet that MM captured the moment in AWESOME PHOTOGRAPHY....

I find her talent amazing. I have to thank you Tee for my awesome lunch today ... I had a salmon burger from a box of frozen ones we got at Sam's club and before I grilled it this morning I added chopped dill and lemon drops to it and it tasted awesome. I did not do this the first time I had it and it was kind of too plain as I just grilled it with mustard. I had it with Wasa crackers instead of bread and it hit the spot. Thanks for the AWESOME tips!!!

Your Jasmine picture is one of my favorites, I didn't know Beth took it. She takes great pictures. I remember one she took of one of her kids that was just beautiful. Just a little girl sort of walking away from the camera. It was just lovely, and so are you and Cyn in these pixs.
Yup... she took that picture as well as so many awesome ones. I remember that one of the little girl walking away from the camera .. it was just beautiful no other words to define it. I always like her changing avies too ... I have no photographic talent whatsoever DD always gets on my case because I either cut off heads or feet or shake and blur the picture .. Go figure.. and I love pictures but you know that LOL ...
Thank you. I was blonde when I was a little girl, and when it started to get darker in about the 4th grade, my mom started highlighting it to keep it blonde. And I had just always kept it highlighted. But, since having WLS and going through loads of therapy, I have started doing things my way. And, I always wanted short, brown hair. Since this photo, I have gotten even more brave and have gotten it cut into a short, stacked style that hangs longer in the front and kind of swoops. LOL. I love it!! I just feel so sassy!!
