Ah, OK.  There is also a serum iron, but I'd agree that ferritin is something to be more concerned over.

Under 10 is really really bad
Under 20 is still really bad
50 is kinda sorta ok but not great; you should aim for higher
Over 100 gets a thumbs-up
Over 200 gets and hippity hop whoop whoop

Just my opinion, of course.

Jo-Anna, please figure out a way to take care of your health even though you are on disability! Caring for post-WLS is expensive but essential!

Have you seen your doctor recently? What does he/she say?

What can you do to find a doctor and adequate health care? Do you have medicare or medicaid? Are there social services available to you?

Posting here is entirely inadequate- this is only a support site, and we can only offer opinions. You need to see a doctor as soon as possible.

What can you do to advocate for yourself and your health?

The Canadian system pays for all healthcare appointments. They will even pay for iron infusions at a hospital for you. You just need to go to a doctor and get a referral. She has been given all the same advice multiple times on the Ontario board.

You didn't fast because it's "too hard for you"?!  Sistah, please. Get a grip and get yourself back to the clinic.
