I am home from the hospital.

  Our NEW birthdays are on the same day. I know what you mean, I didn’t sleep well the first night, but better last night. I have had some major sounds coming from my tummy; rumbling, groaning and moaning all day yesterday. I this some of it is gas. I still feel very bloated, even though I am down 4 pounds since Friday. Are you having much pain? I had a hard time getting down the liquids yesterday, so I am really going to try hard today. Hugs, Crissie

My pain level is a bit better today, but I'm still having some gas pain. I'll be glad when that eases up! I have also been able to sip on a protein shake today which is more than I could manage yesterday.

I did have my first shower since the surgery today. I can't tell you how awesome that felt. I wore out quickly, but it was worth it to get my hair washed!!

I also took the band-aids off my incisions and they look pretty good. They are starting to itch so I think that is a sign that they are healing. They don't look angry or irritated or icky. He used staples and "glue" instead of stitches. Hopefully they will heal quickly and with minimal scarring.

How are you feeling today? I hope you aren't having much pain.

 I am doing a little better today. But, man my stomach is so loud and makes all kinds of strange noises now.  Also, my bowls woke up this morning..don't know if that is a good thing. It's pure water!    I am going to try to get down the fluid today. I know how you feel....baths are wonderful

Mine made me feel 100% better and so nice to be able to feel clean and to be able to brush my hair and teeth.
