Happy Holloween ..What are you Handing The Trick or Treater's Healthy or Not Healthy?
B/c I am the meanest mother in the world, I will be handing out the candy that my kids collect while Trick or Treating. They each get to keep five pieces, the rest goes in the trash or the bags of other kids. Usually around 9 at night we get a large group of teenagers, I hand them a ziplock with what is left from the day and then turn off my light LOL

So it costs me a ton, but it's worth it not to have them be sugared up ******** for hours on end. I am not above bribery and pay off's to get a few hours of peace.
We carve lots of pumpkins, usually around 8 or 9 of them and hand out candy. I like to dress up and see the kids when they come to the door, the big hit is usually my bf's 130lb dog. I try to make sure there isn't much candy left at the end of the night even if that means giving fistfuls to some kids.
I'm locking the doors and switching the lights off! I figure the last thing our overindulged neighborhood kids need is more candy.
But in case you think I'm the halloween equivalent of the grinch, I'm buying a bucket load of candy and taking it to a homeless shelter. Figure those poor kids need treats more than anyone else these days.
