For you NEW KIDS, HERE ARE THE RULES:

"B*TCHFest"  is provided as a public service to those of us who have gripes and grievances but who (whom?), for whatever reason, lack a regular forum in which to air them. You are welcome to voice any problems - large or small, important, mundane or ridiculous -  that currently have your panties wadded, your shorts frosted and your gears ground. Don't hold them in and risk future medical issues, wrinkles and/or those pesky gray hairs.

ANY and ALL issues that are plaguing you are open for you to voice; there are no "sacred cows." They say that "feelings aren't facts", so if you're feeling it, it's legit to you. NO ONE is allowed to flame a poster for something he or she writes, however commiseration is not only welcomed but encouraged. Please, no personal attacks against other OH members (at least, not by name) and
ABSOLUTELY NO SURGERY WARS!

I'll start you off with a few gripes of mine, and you all can join in at any time! No limits - come back as many times as you like!

WARNING! Adult content ahead! Posts may (and probably will) contain "adult" content and language. I know that MINE will. Rated TV-MA.

It's a gorgeous, New England fall day, and I hate to ruin it with rants, but I have to get some **** off my chest. Join me, won't you?

- do the media and politicians: we are NOT headed into a "second recession." IT'S THE SAME RECESSION! The mere fact that you dillholes SAY the first one ended two years ago does NOT make it so. Climb down out of your ivory towers and look around. Does it LOOK like the recession ever ended?

- why is it that, even though I lost a lot of weight, NOTHING fits? If the waist fits, the hips are too small and I can't get pants over my fat thighs. If the thighs are the right size, you could fit me and another person in the waist. ****! I hated shopping for clothes before and I hate it MORE now. Dammit!

- I'm freelancing night shift this week (5p to 1a.) By the time it gets to be 7 pm, my caffeine buzz has worn off, and if I start a new one, I won't be able to sleep when I get home at 1 am. Sheee-it. Can't science find  a way to fix that?

- I know that sometimes, people have to (or prefer to) pay for their groceries with a check. But for god's sake, while the cashier is ringing up your 800 items, can you start writing out the check, rather than waiting for her to get done? You can at least PULL OUT THE CHECKBOOK, fill in the date, name of the store and sign it while you (and we) are waiting.

OH! ONE MORE! It's only the 5th of October. Do we really, REALLY need to have all the stores putting out their CHRISTMAS crap already?? Damn you, Hallmark store. I blame you!

Oh, that's it for now. I'm gonna go try to enjoy the pleasant weather. Your turn. Have at it! ***** away, *****ers!!!

Coffee cup warmers keep your favorite hot beverages at the perfect temperature until you're finished drinking. Desktop mug warmers from Brookstone ensure that your coffee, tea, hot chocolate--even cappuccino--stays hot and ready for you to enjoy at your pace. Use your own standard size mug or cup. Our coffee cup warmers work like heated coasters and require no special mugs or glassware.

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

 size 8, life is great

I recently read about these little things called "Coffee Beads" that you drop into your cup. They supposedly bring the temp DOWN just enough so you don't burn your mouth, but HOLD that temp for---well, they made it sound like HOURS.

I believe it was of those little 'news' blurbs that pop up when you long onto Yahoo. It was about great-but-simple, why-didn't-I-think-of-that inventions. I tried Googling for them, but all I get a 'decorative' coffee beads.

Thank you, I'll see what I can come up with later. I'm getting ready to head out to the pumpkin patch to be visit my sister who is visiting from Georgia. She manages the pumpkin patch every year, and I always go there to hang out with her. I always have fun because she lets me run the cash register and and other pumpkiny patch stuff.
