Who are you?

A few years ago I had a problem with someone who hacked my account. They found and posted a whole lot of personal information. Since then I gave up on keeping my identity a secret. If they want to find you they can, even with a hidden name. All I did was click a link they had provided in the forum (it was supposed to lead us to a related site for the group I was in). Once you went to the link it grabbed your ip address and a bunch of other information. I knew he found us when he mailed me a Christmas card and I had NEVER given out so much as my real first name or even state I lived in online.

Ever since then I gave up on all the work it took to keep who I was a secret. I don't just put names and addresses out there obviously but I also don't make it too hard to figure out. I do however protect my sons identity as good as I can although it is possible to find, anything is possible to find.

In the interest of full discloure, that was NOT her house.  But I sent her another list of "possibles."  She COULD BE in there.
