No way the study went long enough if only 1 person needed iron infusions! Look at all the RNYers who need them I don't know about the average DSer.
He sounds pretty anti WLS. I guarantee I'd be a lot sicker if I hadn't lost 100 pounds. You can't really quantify NOT getting diabetes.
