OT: I'm conservative, old and a Christian, BUT I don't understand

Maybe that lady used to be the kid next door to me. Her mom had at home daycare but had to ask our child--age about three--to leave because she had the AUDACITY to say that our family did NOT go to church on Sunday. The woman didn't want her children, one older...one younger than our kid, to be exposed to the idea that not everybody thought and believed and did things the way her family did. I figure that the daycare lady's kids grew up to be about as bright as the woman with the objections to Chaz' being on the show.

The crazy thing is that people are now discussing Chaz's gender and the now concerned person's kids might hear about the issue on the news.
Otherwise, they would never know something was different about him.
If they were pushing for an LBGT agenda, they would have girls dance with girls and men with men. Which doesn't happen.

I also heard this on the news this morning, and thought about the same thing as you.
In fact, one of the first thoughts that went through my mind was that maybe it was actually inappropriate for the mother to have such talk with a young child at all.
Why would she even feel this is necessary unless it's to spread her own narrow-minded biases towards anyone who is different on to her child?
I have no idea what started this thread as I don'****ch much TV, have never watched the show mentioned, had no idea she had turned into a he.
But as a conservative (Christian leaning), I am thrilled to see the postings here from other conservatives just as annoyed with preachy attitudes as I am. The media always slants conservatives as militant out-of-control ignorant rednecks.... and the majority of us are not.
