I may have misunderstood your first statement.  I once attended a church where a friend of mine had a seizure.  Several people gathered around her to "lay hands on her and cast out the demons." Then when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, they urged her to fore go surgery because God would heal her if she prayed enough and was worthy of being saved.  So when I hear about people avoiding counseling or medical treatment because God will take care of them, I get very concerned.  That kind of "religious" baloney gets people killed.  Is it any wonder people shun organized religion and instead just nourish their spiritual selves?

If your God is omniscient, why didn't he tell you to have a WLS with a better success rate than the LapBand???

sucess rate does not depend on the tool you receive, one needs still needs to use that tool to its  full potential, any tool is only 10% tool all surgeries, the other 90 % is the mental process. The tool does not fail, the person's choices fail. God bless Steve

Why don't you come here and tell my kids that their mom almost died b/c of the "tool" God let the doctors put in her AND that it was all her fault b/c she failed in her choices. UHHH, dead wrong. 

I hope your band does not try to kill you like it did me.
