One needs to be willing, able and ready for a change in their life. why do people go to counselors, when you control your improvement and pray to God about your problems. He wants you to come and talk to HIm.

Why did you get a lap band? If your god knows about all your problems and will fix them, no need for counselors, surgeons, or any medical intervention, right?
Personally, I believe that God works through counsleors, surgeons, and others. So, yeah, I do talk to Him AND I see physicians, counselors, dentists, chiropracters, and anyone who can help me.

Reason why i had lap band? I had lap band because God told me to, and that He is using me as a vessel.
If i would not have had lap band, i would have been dead.
I do praise the Doctors that helped me in this journey, and my Lord did put them in my life.
I am going to school to become a counselor, and my bases will be faith
In my life i do go to counselors, but in the same breath i include God in the statement.
God told me to go to counseling, i will continue to to pray and go to the counselor,
