No...no, she's subject to violent Mood Swings.  See...it's right there in her avatar!  We must be compassionate, people.

Actually, I really find this very ironic because Kelly's blog has some seriously good info in it!

Hope you are riding out the hurricane okay, Kelly!

The bitterness seems to originate ENTIRELY from the "poor me" blog writers.

Sorry I hurt your feelings so badly merely by saying that I won't read your navel gazing blather.

Boo hoo, poor babies.

Thank u...and you have my permission to use my new "slanger" anytime u want.

It shows u are a writer, a good 1. I write for a livin' too.

Funny thing, I write in the field of behavioral forensics. Reading about all of the behavior on here is somewhat entertaining.

I was recently forced to start using Drag-on Unnaturally Regurgitating. That's a topic best left for a later rant.

Boy, did you stir the pot--er poo. Luv it. Keep it real!

Behavioral forensics? That sounds intriguing. Can you explain the context?

And what is "Drag-on Unnaturally Regurgitating"?

Dragon is voice recognition software.

Forensic psychology in the med-legal field.

I've tried to use voice recognition software a couple of times without much success. I think my occasionally odd accent throws them off. It's been an exercise in frustration.

"Forensic psychology in the med-legal field" sounds like profiling. Is that correct? If so, are you more of a technical writer or do you do the actual analysis?

You've really piqued my curiosity.

Yeah, Dragon can be a pain, but people all over the world (with accents) use it too. The PC version is better than the Mac. You have to "train" it so it gets your accent and speech patterns.

People assume I profile serial murderers... nope. I treat and also conduct/write lengthy evals that are used in court. Since I also have a creative background, the med-legal techie writing part can get tedious. Some of these reports are 40+ pages long.

Sometimes, completing one is like giving birth (akin to pushing a grand piano through a transom).
