I am a full-time blogger.  I don't see a damn thing wrong with what you said.

I was nodding and agreeing with you through the computer screen when I read the original post.  

This kind of posting encourages conversation, more stimulating that "LOOK AT MY ASS!"

I m so not a WLS blog reader. I learened what I needed to learn about WLS from doing extensive evidence based research.

Now 7 years out the post op life has been my life for years. I barely mention it. I loved the R&R site bc it ws like we all had WLS in common but were all past the newbie stage, had formed friendships, and wanted to talk about other things.

That said, I do read MM's blog bc I like her very real writing style and I do find valuable info on discounts, etc. I also have Andrea's blog bookmarked bc it is very informative and if I need to know something about a vitamin fast I know 99% I can find accurate info there.
