I'm just about 2 years out, and so far,  haven't had the dreaded bounce back yet. That's the one thing I really working to not to do.  It's really, really  hard.  I think part of the problem is  in your  post.  You say:" I don't eat alot of meals but do eat alot of snacks.  I'm wondering if this is why I'm gaining weight.  I know that I don't work out as much as I used to when I first had surgery." Go back to the basics of when you first had surgery: drink your fluids,  eat plenty of protein,  cut way down on your carb intake,  get your vitamins in,  journal your food intake, and EXERCISE!  You proved that you can do it and you can do it again.
I'm sorry if I sound mean and rude and God knows I  don't mean to be.  It's just that I have to tell myself this everyday for me to keep the weight down.

Get back to basics. 3 meals a day and a snack if you exercise a lot. Protein forward meals, watch your portions and drink a lot of water. Why do you snack and not eat meals and what are your snacks? You will gain weight when you exceed your caloric intake compared to your exercise, The surgery doesn't won't keep the weight off if you don't eat right. After a year post op we should be on 1200-1500 calories per day. Watch carbs and fats. Jot down what you eat and add it up for a few days. Find where you need to cut back. Go back to protein forward or only meals, lots of exercise and water. You should be able to drop quite a bit and then keep going on the rest from there, It will take a while to lose, we don't lose as fast as we did when a new post op but it's do-able. You can do Medifast, but at some point you still have to go back to regular food. Better to get a handle on it now and work out the best way for you to eat and maintain.
